I have a collection of mostly text-based PDFs that I need turned into clean, editable Word files. I am not interested in preserving layouts, fonts, or styling—just extract the raw text and present it in a .docx for each source file.
Accuracy is essential. Every line should be proof-read after conversion to catch and correct any OCR or formatting glitches so the final documents read smoothly without stray characters or broken sentences.
Deliverables:
• One Word document per PDF, named to match the original file
• Plain text only—no tables, images, or complex formatting carried over
• Error-free content verified against the source PDFs
You are welcome to use Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, or any other reliable OCR tool, as long as the final result meets the quality bar described above.
