One Day NCEA Maths Tutor

My Year 11 son is sitting Level 1 NCEA this year and needs a strong boost from someone who really knows the New Zealand curriculum. I would like to book a single, focused lesson—whether that ends up being a two-hour block or a few shorter sessions spread across the day—to sharpen his understanding of whichever topics he struggles with most once you diagnose them.

You must already be comfortable teaching Level 1 NCEA content and assessment style, able to switch smoothly between algebra, graphs, geometry, or statistics as required, and confident explaining concepts in clear, teenager-friendly language. At the end of the lesson please provide him with a brief set of personalised study notes and a handful of practice questions so he can keep reinforcing what you covered.

We are flexible on timing this week and happy to meet online (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) or in person if you are local and available. When you respond, let me know:
• your relevant teaching or tutoring experience with NCEA Level 1
• preferred lesson length and platform (in-person/online)
• what materials or information you will need from us beforehand

The job will be complete once the lesson is delivered and the follow-up notes are sent.
