### Dubai Consumer Diary Study – Participant Recruitment

We are recruiting **6 participants in Dubai/UAE** for an upcoming **qualitative consumer research diary study** about **international travel, duty-free shopping, and cigarette/smoke-free nicotine product behaviours**.

**Target Respondents:**

* KSA, Egyptian, or Lebanese nationals **residing in the UAE**
* Adults who currently use **cigarettes and/or smoke-free nicotine products**
* Mix of **GTR (duty-free) shoppers and non-shoppers**
* Frequent international travellers
* Must have taken **at least 2 international trips in the past 12 months**
* Must have a confirmed/planned **international trip within the next 2–3 weeks**
* Comfortable using **WhatsApp, video calls, and photo/video recording**

**Study Activities & Time Commitment:**

1. **Pre-travel WhatsApp diary:** 5 days leading up to the trip – photo/video activities through WhatsApp
2. **Video call:** Up to **1 hour**, 2 days before travel
3. **In-person interview:** **1 hour**, day before travel, including review of the photo diary
4. **Travel-day accompaniment:** Up to **3 hours**, including accompanying the participant from home to the airport and documenting the airport/duty-free experience
5. **Post-travel video interview:** **1 hour** at the destination

**Total active time:** Approximately **6 hours**, plus the 5-day WhatsApp photo/video diary activities.

Participants must be willing to share their experiences, take photos/videos, record voice notes, and participate in interviews throughout the study.
