The assignment centres on turning a body of raw material into a polished, long-form documentary. I already have principal footage gathered and want it woven together with two key storytelling devices: archival footage that adds historical context and voice-over narration that guides the viewer through the narrative arc.

I will supply:
• All primary footage, organised by shoot date
• Licensed archival clips and stills
• Recorded narration tracks (or clean script if you prefer recording yourself)
• A rough outline of the intended structure and pacing

You will craft a seamless 20- to 40-minute film that:
• Follows clear documentary pacing without feeling like a lecture
• Balances interviews, B-roll and archival inserts naturally
• Integrates narration so the information flows rather than feels imposed
• Includes basic colour correction, tasteful transitions and a clean audio mix
• Is delivered in 4K ProRes plus a web-ready H.264

To gauge fit, share links to past work that best reflects long-form, information-rich storytelling—highlight projects where you handled archival integration or narration layering. No formal proposal needed at this stage; the reel will speak for itself.

Once I’ve reviewed samples, we can lock in the timeline, feedback rounds and milestones for first cut, fine cut and final master.
