Ongoing Web App Development

I’m maintaining and expanding an existing web application and am looking for a reliable developer who can slot in as needs arise. The codebase already has a solid foundation; what I need now is someone who can pick up new feature requests, resolve bugs, and help refine the user experience without disrupting live users.

Core expectations
• Quickly understand the current architecture, tech stack, and deployment pipeline.
• Build out small-to-medium features end-to-end (frontend, backend, and database work).
• Write readable, well-documented code and meaningful tests.
• Communicate progress clearly in short iterations so we can prioritise together.

Acceptance criteria for each task will be agreed before you start; once a ticket is merged and deployed without regressions, that deliverable is considered complete.

Stack highlights
React (with hooks), Node.js/Express, PostgreSQL, Git, automated CI/CD (GitHub Actions). If you’re comfortable with comparable tools or have suggestions to improve performance, I’m open to them.

This is an ongoing engagement—no fixed end date—so consistency, responsiveness, and an eye for clean architecture are more valuable to me than quick one-off fixes. If that working style suits you, let’s discuss the first milestone.
