Odoo Workflow Configuration Business Expert Needed

Our in-house developers already have Odoo installed; what we lack is a business-side specialist who can turn the system into a production-ready tool that mirrors our daily operations. The immediate focus is on configuring workflows across every core module we use—Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Accounting, and POS—so that each process runs to best-practice standards without additional custom code.

The heaviest lift is workflow design. I need the full purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory management, POS, and sales cycles mapped to our current procedures, then translated into Odoo settings, routes, and rules. That includes defining stages, approval steps, automated actions, and inter-module hand-offs so data flows cleanly from one department to the next.

Key expectations:
• End-to-end configuration completed and documented in a sandbox, then migrated to production after sign-off
• Clear test cases showing each workflow (e.g., a purchase request that converts to a vendor bill and posts to Accounting without manual intervention)
• User-friendly guidance so our team can own the system going forward—no reliance on custom development for day-to-day tasks

Our dev team remains on standby for any code-level adjustments, but your deliverable is purely functional setup and process optimisation inside native Odoo tools. Once every scenario passes testing and reconciles in Accounting reports, the project is complete.
