I want our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X feeds to become lively hubs where volunteers and the wider public talk with us every day. The goal is clear: engage and grow our online community so that more people feel connected to our mission and become long-term advocates.
Here is what the work looks like in practice:
• Content creation & scheduling – Draft short, compelling copy, pair it with simple Canva graphics, and line everything up in a weekly calendar.
• Daily community care – Respond to comments, spark conversation, and spot opportunities to involve volunteers and curious members of the public.
• Light analytics – Track reach, engagement and follower growth, then summarise the numbers in a concise monthly report so we can see what is resonating.
Everything must reflect the tone of a caring, trustworthy NGO, stay on brand, and hit agreed deadlines. If a post needs a quick tweak after review, I expect it turned around promptly so the schedule stays intact.
Deliverables each month
1. A seven-day content calendar, approved at least two days before it goes live.
2. All accompanying Canva visuals (editable files).
3. A one-page performance snapshot with key metrics and actionable notes for the next cycle.
If you have hands-on experience running social channels for nonprofits and can demonstrate reliable results, this project should feel straightforward and rewarding.
