I’m ready to turn a clear set of functional requirements into a polished, production-ready e-commerce interface built with Next.js and React. The project centres on delivering a fast, mobile-first shopping experience that looks and feels consistent on every screen size.
Core features I need you to implement
• Secure email-and-password authentication (NextAuth, Firebase Auth, or a similarly robust solution are all fine as long as it’s clean and easily maintainable).
• Full Stripe integration for product purchase, checkout, and order confirmation flows.
• A visually engaging product catalogue laid out in a grid view, complete with filtering, sorting, and quick-view modals so customers can browse effortlessly.
• Responsive pages for home, product details, cart, and checkout, all optimised for performance and accessibility.
• Well-structured, readable code with reusable components and clear documentation that lets my in-house team extend the site later.
You’ll work from a basic wireframe and style guide I’ll provide at kickoff. I value modern tooling—TypeScript, Tailwind CSS or styled-components, Git workflow, and sensible testing—but I’m open to your preferred stack as long as the final result meets the goals above.
Acceptance criteria
• All pages render flawlessly on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and mobile browsers.
• Stripe payments process successfully in both test and live modes.
• User accounts can be created, authenticated, and managed via email/password.
• Lighthouse performance score of 90+ on mobile.
• Codebase passes linting and unit tests, with setup instructions included in a README.
If this sounds like a challenge you’d enjoy, let’s discuss your approach and timeline.
