I have three high-resolution portraits that need careful, manual retouching in Photoshop (no AI tools, filters, or automated plug-ins, please). The brief is straightforward:

• Convert all white hairs to black on both the head and the beard to achieve a rich, even tone . Current tones are mostly black with scattered white strands, so I need consistent depth and realistic shading that respects natural highlights and lowlights.

• On the head only, subtly thicken the front hairline. Add just enough individual strands to mask the slight thinning—nothing exaggerated or obvious. The beard should stay as-is apart from the recolor.

• Preserve the natural “in-between” texture of the hair (it isn’t quite curly, wavy, or straight), avoiding any tell-tale blur or plastic finish.

Final files: three flattened JPEGs in the original resolution plus optional layered PSDs if you already work non-destructively. When examined at 100 %, the edits should be invisible to an untrained eye.

If you’re comfortable with realistic color grading, strand-by-strand dodge/burn, and precise cloning, I’d love to see a quick sample on a cropped section before we proceed with all three images.
