Monthly Renewable Asset Report

I manage a diverse portfolio of solar, wind, and hybrid plants spread over nine Indian states plus several international rooftop sites, and I need a dependable monthly report that distills performance and energy-generation figures into a clear narrative I can hand to leadership without additional tweaking.

What I expect each month
• A consolidated document (PDF plus the working Excel/Power BI file) that compares actual generation to planned targets for every site and then rolls those figures up portfolio-wide.
• High-level commentary on significant production swings, curtailment, or outages that materially affect the numbers.
• Simple charts—daily and cumulative energy, capacity factors, and a single page that lets senior management grasp portfolio health at a glance.

You’re free to choose the layout so long as it remains consistent month to month and the calculations are traceable back to raw SCADA or inverter data. I will supply the data dumps; you transform them into the polished summary.

Acceptance criteria
1. Totals for each site reconcile exactly with source sheets.
2. Variances versus target are highlighted in both kWh and percentage terms.
3. The final report reaches me no later than the 5th business day of the following month.

If you have experience building renewable-energy dashboards or KPIs in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, mention it—speed and repeatability matter. Once the template is locked, this will become an ongoing, month-after-month assignment.
