Miami-Dade Residential HVAC Drawings from Manual J, D, S

I have a single-family home in Miami-Dade County that now needs a full set of mechanical AC drawings prepared to today’s Florida Building Code for permitting. The scope is strictly HVAC, with an emphasis on two key items: a complete ductwork layout and clear exterior/interior unit placement.

At this stage I’m leaning toward equipment from Rheem or Daikin, so please size and annotate the system accordingly while still allowing flexibility should the building department request an alternate submittal.

What I expect from you:
• A code-compliant mechanical plan sheet (PDF + DWG) that the local reviewer can stamp “Approved,” showing supply/return duct routes, registers, grills, and exact condenser/air-handler locations.
• Supporting notes, schedules, and details that reference the current Florida Building Code and specific Miami-Dade County amendments.
• All required symbols, legends, and scale so the installer can build directly from the drawings.

If you typically include Manual J, S, or D calculations with your drawing package, let me know; I’ll decide whether to add them as a separate milestone. Turnaround time and your prior Florida work samples will weigh heavily in my selection.
