Merino Sleepwear Pattern & Samples

I have developed a premium merino sleepwear concept for new parents and now need a skilled pattern cutter to take it from cotton prototype to production-ready pattern. The garment must offer easy nursing access through a front wrap/crossover opening and sit with a relaxed, roomy fit.

You will work with my supplied fabric, 100 % superfine, machine-washable merino interlock jersey (250 gsm, pale cloud grey) and create 4 fitted samples so we can confirm drape, comfort, and the nursing feature. A few in-person fittings in London or Bath are required, but the bulk of the work can be done remotely.

Deliverables
• Digital and printable production pattern, graded for small-batch manufacture in Scotland
• 4 sewn samples in the merino fabric
• All notches, seam allowances, grainlines, and construction notes clearly marked, with special attention to the crossover nursing opening

Timeline is three weeks from project start, and the fee is fixed. Confidence with knit fabrics, especially interlock jersey is essential. If you can turn great ideas into beautifully cut reality, I’d love to collaborate.
