Position Summary & Job Description
The Medicare Referral Coordinator (MD/DC Market) is a non-licensed, high-empathy call center professional responsible for executing outbound or inbound campaigns to identify Medicare beneficiaries who are dually eligible for Medicaid (D-SNP) or qualify for the Low-Income Subsidy (LIS). Operating strictly within CMS compliance boundaries, the coordinator utilizes a standardized screening process to verify the client's current location, baseline Medicare enrollment (Parts A & B), and active state-issued assistance—such as a Maryland Medical Assistance card or a District of Columbia Medicaid profile. The core function of this role is to build rapid rapport with vulnerable populations, filter out unqualified leads, and execute a seamless, compliant live warm-transfer to a locally appointed, licensed insurance agent who can legally discuss specific plan benefits, quote rates, and finalize enrollments. Performance in this role is strictly evaluated based on script adherence, Quality Assurance (QA) scoring, CRM data precision, and the conversion rate of successfully transferred, qualified prospects.

• A live, accurate referral log that shows status, notes, and next actions
• A brief end-of-day summary so I always know where every lead stands
