NeoWork is hiring Medical Virtual Assistants to support U.S. healthcare practices with front-office and administrative work. You will help patients get scheduled, verified, and supported, so providers can focus on care.

Key Responsibilities
Answer and place patient calls for scheduling, reminders, and general inquiries
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and support pre-authorization requests
• Process patient intake forms and update records in the EHR
• Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and communication with providers
• Route clinical or billing questions to the right staff
• Handle all patient information in a HIPAA-compliant manner
Requirements
1+ year of experience in a medical office, healthcare call center, or patient services role
• Excellent spoken and written English with a calm, professional phone manner
• Familiarity with medical terminology
Experience using EHR or practice management systems
• Strong organization and multitasking skills
• Availability to work U.S. business hours
• Based in Jamaica, with a reliable home office setup and stable internet connection
Nice to Have
• Experience with insurance verification or prior authorizations
• Experience with systems such as AdvancedMD, athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks
