Manufacturing ERP: CRM to Costing

I’m ready to kick-off a multi-phase build of a bespoke ERP for our mid-sized manufacturing plant. Phase 1-4 focuses on three core modules that need to fit together seamlessly:

• CRM for our Sales team
– Must deliver smooth lead management, clear pipeline tracking, and reliable sales forecasting so reps can see every deal stage at a glance.
• Quotation Management
– Generate, version and approve quotes quickly, pulling live costs from the BOM engine and pushing final numbers back into the CRM.
• BOM Costing
– Build detailed, multi-level bills of materials with automatic cost roll-ups, margin calculations and change-tracking that feeds straight into the quotation module.

Endpoints, workflows and data structures should be future-proof so later phases (inventory, production, finance) can bolt on without refactoring. I’m technology-agnostic but favour mainstream stacks that offer a vibrant plugin ecosystem and straightforward maintenance.

Deliverables for this engagement
1. Functional specs and wireframes for each module
2. Demo-ready MVP covering CRM, Quotation and BOM costing
3. Source code in a git repo with clean commit history
4. Basic test suite and deployment instructions
5. Short hand-off session and documentation
