I have a collection of industrial software manuals that need to be rendered into clear, technically precise Arabic. The source files are all in Word format and together they run well past the 20,000-word mark, so consistency of terminology and style across chapters is critical.
The assignment is straightforward in scope yet demanding in accuracy: every heading, table, screenshot caption and safety notice must carry over intact, with the final files mirroring the original layout so the engineering team can drop them straight into our documentation set. CAT-tool experience (Trados, MemoQ or similar) will help you keep the vocabulary tight, but any workflow is fine as long as the delivered Word documents match the original structure and pagination.
Deliverables
• Fully translated Word files for each manual, ready for print and online distribution
• A short bilingual glossary of key industrial and software terms used throughout
I will be available for quick clarification on product-specific jargon and expect incremental deliveries so we can review sections as you progress.
