I’m designing a modern wall clock that quietly refreshes a large 7-10" E-Ink display over Wi-Fi. The unit has to show time, date, and basic weather data pulled from a public API, yet still run for two years and more on a single battery pack. To make that happen I need a partner who can take the idea from schematic all the way to a working prototype.
What’s on my wish list
• Custom PCB: low-power ESP32 (or similar Wi-Fi MCU), E-Ink display driver, real-time clock, temperature sensor for accurate weather icon control, and a battery management circuit.
• Firmware: deep-sleep routines, NTP sync, simple JSON weather parsing, OTA update hooks, and a minimal web page for SSID/password entry.
• Prototype assembly: populate the board, mount the large E-Ink panel, load firmware, and prove it updates reliably on batteries alone.
• Documentation: full Gerbers, BOM with orderable parts, firmware source, and a concise build/read-me so I can reproduce the unit or hand it to a manufacturer.
Acceptance criteria
1. From a fresh battery insertion the clock must wake only long enough to refresh hourly, targeting
