We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (369 Life Service) offering downsizing, space clearing, and minor home maintenance for seniors in the South Bay area (Torrance, Redondo Beach, Gardena, CA).
As an NPO, we operate on a very tight budget, but we are deeply passionate about helping local seniors. We are looking for community-minded freelancers to help us secure physical and/or online bulletin board placements to reach local seniors and their families.
Task Scope (You can apply for either or both):
Physical Flyer Placements (South Bay Local Only):
Visit local coffee shops, Japanese/local supermarkets, community centers, senior facilities, and local businesses in the South Bay (Torrance, Redondo, Gardena).
Politely speak with managers/staff to secure permission to post or leave our printed flyers.
Provide photo proof of each placed flyer.
Online Bulletin Placements (Can be done from anywhere):
Identify and post on digital community boards, local South Bay Facebook/Nextdoor groups, city business directories, or local neighborhood resource pages.
Note: While you can work remotely, all postings MUST specifically target the South Bay, LA local audience.
Provide direct links to all approved online postings.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills to politely request and secure posting permissions.
For Physical Placements: Based in or very familiar with the South Bay, LA area.
For Online Placements: Ability to effectively find and target South Bay local online channels.
Understanding and respect for NPO budget constraints.
When submitting your proposal (Bid), please include:
Whether you are applying for Physical, Online, or Both.
Your Rate Offer: Since our NPO budget is low, please provide a reasonable fixed fee or hourly rate (e.g., your price per 10 approved physical or online placements).
Any relevant experience or local South Bay ideas you have.
