My current program introduces a new passenger-car platform that must exceed today’s benchmarks in fuel economy, acceleration, and ride/handling without compromising cost or timing. To make that happen, I need an experienced integration lead to pull every subsystem together and unlock holistic vehicle performance.
Scope of work
You will own the master performance target sheet, translate it into subsystem requirements, and drive alignment across powertrain, chassis, body, electrical, NVH, and software teams. Typical tasks include creating the integration strategy, running CAE correlation reviews, defining DVP&R, chairing cross-functional meetings, and tracking sign-off status through each gateway. Tools such as AVL Cruise, CarSim, MATLAB/Simulink, and typical OEM PLM systems will be part of the daily workflow, so fluency with them is expected.
Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
• A consolidated target cascade showing clear links from high-level performance KPIs down to component specs
• A phase-aligned integration plan with risk register and mitigation actions approved by all discipline leads
• Weekly scorecards summarising test results, simulation updates, and open issues, published through the project SharePoint
• Final sign-off report confirming that the vehicle meets or beats the agreed performance targets in fuel efficiency, acceleration, and dynamic handling tests
I will be available for rapid technical reviews and can provide all existing CAD, simulation models, and test data. Let’s blend your integration expertise with our engineering resources and push these passenger cars to the next performance level.
