The project is to turn my concept into a fully operational online store that can sell products directly on-site, complete with a secure checkout and seamless customer experience. I have not yet settled on a specific platform, so recommendations between Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or another robust solution are welcome—whichever best suits a scalable catalogue and straightforward order processing.
Scope of work
• Full set-up of the storefront: theme installation, responsive design, and basic branding applied to headers, footers, and product pages.
• Product architecture: categories, filters, and sample listings so I can easily duplicate the structure for additional items.
• Payment & shipping configuration: integrations with major gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and standard shipping rules ready for real-world orders.
• Essential plug-ins or apps: inventory tracking, automated tax calculations, abandoned-cart recovery, and basic SEO optimisation.
• Launch support: walkthrough of the admin panel, how to add/edit products, and best practices for promotions.
Acceptance criteria
– Store loads quickly and renders correctly on mobile and desktop.
– Test transactions complete without errors.
– Admin dashboard documentation provided (screenshots or short Loom video).
– Code or customisation delivered in an exportable format so I can back up or migrate later.
With these pieces in place, I’ll be ready to upload the rest of my catalogue and open sales immediately.
