I run a traffic management company and I’m at the very first step of formalising our Quality Management System. My top priority right now is ISO 9001, though I do want to keep ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 in view so anything you create can grow into an integrated system later on.
Where we stand
• We’re in initial planning with only a handful of existing procedures and forms that partially cover our operations.
• No formal quality manual, process maps, or audit programme exist yet.
What I need from you
• A clear implementation plan that shows the sequence of tasks, responsible parties and realistic timelines for reaching audit-readiness.
• Gap analysis of our current documentation against ISO 9001 clauses, highlighting what can be kept, what needs revision and what is missing.
• Draft or refine core documents—Quality Policy, Quality Manual, mandatory procedures, process flow charts and records—tailored to traffic management activities.
• Guidance on setting measurable objectives and KPIs relevant to on-site traffic control, safety and environmental considerations so the work dovetails later with 14001 & 45001.
• Templates and practical instructions for document control, non-conformance, corrective action and internal audits.
• Coaching calls or recorded walkthroughs so my team understands how to implement and maintain each element.
Acceptance criteria
1. All mandatory ISO 9001 documents delivered in editable format, branded for our company.
2. Gap analysis report clearly mapping each ISO 9001 clause to evidence or required action.
3. Implementation plan detailed enough for us to self-manage day-to-day tasks.
4. At least one knowledge-transfer session verifying the team can locate, use and update the new system.
If you have a track record of building management systems for service-based or construction-related firms and can communicate clearly with non-ISO specialists, I’d like to hear how you’d tackle this project and your estimated timeline.
