I’m building an iOS application that needs a lightweight, well-structured SDK focused on one core task: precision photo cropping. The library must be written in Swift (latest stable version) and integrate cleanly with UIKit or SwiftUI projects through Swift Package Manager. JPEG will remain the default input/output, but the code must also read and export GIF files without losing animation frames or quality.

Key points to keep in mind
• Cropping workflow: free-form and preset aspect-ratios, live pinch/zoom, and optional rotation before commit.
• Performance: smooth, 60 fps interaction on devices back to iPhone 11, with memory use optimized for large images.
• Thread safety: heavy image work moved off the main thread so the host app’s UI never hangs.
• Documentation: clear inline comments plus a concise markdown guide covering installation, public APIs, and sample calls.
• Demo: a minimalist example app that showcases loading a JPEG or GIF, cropping it, and exporting the result to Photos or local storage.
• Testing: unit tests for the cropping engine and GIF handling.

Acceptance criteria
1. Source compiles with Xcode’s default build settings and passes all provided tests.
2. Cropping a 4000×3000 JPEG on an iPhone 12 completes in under 0.5 s, with memory peaks below 120 MB.
3. A multi-frame GIF retains its animation and transparency after a crop and save cycle.
4. Public API names, parameters, and usage examples match the documentation.

Once the repo passes review, I’ll merge it into our main project and release payment. Looking forward to seeing your clean, efficient code drive this feature.
