Intermediate German Reading & Writing Tutor

I’m at an intermediate stage with German and can hold everyday conversations, yet I still stumble when longer texts get dense or when I try to craft a polished essay. To push past this plateau, I’d like ongoing, text-based tutoring that zeroes in on three areas: sharpening reading comprehension, tightening grammar and syntax, and producing well-structured written pieces.

All interaction will happen asynchronously through email or chat. This suits my schedule and lets me digest feedback at my own pace. Here’s how I picture our workflow:

• Weekly reading assignment: you send a short article, story excerpt, or news piece matched to my level, followed by comprehension questions.
• Essay practice: I respond to a prompt (roughly 300–400 words). You return the text with inline corrections, grammar notes, and a brief summary of recurrent issues.
• Grammar focus: targeted mini-exercises built around the mistakes you notice, plus clear explanations in English or German.

I’m aiming for two to three feedback rounds per week and would appreciate a 24- to 48-hour turnaround on each submission. Native or near-native fluency is ideal, but proven experience teaching intermediate learners counts just as much. Familiarity with tools like Google Docs or Microsoft Word’s track-changes will make the exchange smoother.
