# Freelance Industrial Valve Datasheet Specialist / Technical Documentation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced **Industrial Valve / Flow Control professional** to help us prepare professional, customer-ready technical datasheets for our valve products.

This is **not simply a graphic design or document formatting job**. The ideal freelancer should have a strong understanding of **industrial valves, flow characteristics, pressure drop, sizing parameters, and technical product documentation**.

### What You Will Do

We will provide existing valve datasheets, technical information, drawings, specifications, and other available product data.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Review and understand existing valve datasheets and technical specifications.
- Convert existing manufacturer/supplier datasheets into our **company-branded datasheet format**.
- Organize and present technical information in a clear, professional engineering format.
- Identify missing technical information that would normally be expected in a professional valve datasheet.
- Add or develop relevant technical information where sufficient source data is available.
- Prepare **pressure drop / flow characteristic charts** and similar technical graphs where required.
- Review valve specifications for technical consistency and completeness.
- Ensure units, terminology, tables, diagrams, and technical values are presented correctly.
- Help standardize datasheets across different valve types and product ranges.
- Produce final professional documents suitable for **customers, engineers, consultants, and tender/submittal documentation**.

### Examples of Information That May Need to Be Included

Depending on the valve type, datasheets may include:

- Valve type and construction
- Size range
- Pressure rating
- Temperature range
- Body / trim / seat materials
- End connection
- Flow coefficient (Cv / Kv)
- Pressure drop characteristics
- Flow rate information
- Operating conditions
- Face-to-face dimensions
- Valve dimensions and weights
- Actuation information
- Pressure / temperature ratings
- Materials of construction
- Applicable standards
- Performance characteristics
- Technical drawings
- Flow curves / characteristic curves
- Other relevant engineering parameters

### Important Requirement

The freelancer must be able to **recognize what technical information is missing and determine what should be included**, rather than simply copying information from an existing PDF.

Where calculations, charts, or technical values are required, you should be able to work from the available engineering/product data and clearly identify any assumptions or information that is still required.

**We do not want fabricated or guessed technical specifications.** Any calculated or derived information must be technically justifiable and clearly documented.

### Required Skills / Experience

We are particularly interested in freelancers with experience in:

- Industrial valves
- Control valves
- Ball valves
- Butterfly valves
- Gate / globe / check valves
- Flow control equipment
- Piping / process equipment
- Valve sizing and selection
- Cv / Kv calculations
- Pressure drop calculations
- Flow characteristic curves
- Technical datasheet preparation
- Engineering documentation
- P&ID / technical drawing interpretation

Experience with **industrial valve manufacturers, valve distributors, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or piping systems** is highly preferred.

1. Professionally formatted company-branded datasheet
2. Complete and technically organized specifications
3. Relevant technical charts/graphs
4. Technical drawings where applicable
5. Consistent formatting across the product range
6. Editable source files
7. Final PDF-ready datasheet

### Tools

You may use suitable tools/software for:

- Technical calculations
- Engineering charts
- CAD/drawing interpretation
- PDF/document preparation
- Excel or similar calculation tools
- Professional technical documentation

The specific software is flexible as long as the final output is accurate, professional, and editable.
