I need G-code to mill a 26-groove, 22-degree spiral on a steel shaft (1.375" long x 2.1" diameter.) using a 1/8" end mill. This mill is a Sharp with Centroid AllInOneDC controller with a 4th axis for rotating the shaft.
Machining parameters:
- Total depth: .180"
- Step down: .060" per pass
- Feed rate: 2 inches/min
- Spindle speed: 2000 RPM
No specific tolerance or surface finish requirements. Ideal skills include G-code programming and experience with knee mills.
