I need a large Viking helmet that can be produced in fiberglass, and I’m aiming for an eye-catching, collector-grade finish. The piece must carry a High level of detail: crisp edges, well-defined rivets, and authentic surface textures that will translate cleanly when laid up in fiberglass.
Specs will be provided but this is for a model that is 5’ tall at the head.
Design cues are straightforward: a classic Horned design—nothing winged or abstract. Visually, I’m good with black, so please work in a dark base tone; subtle highlights or metal accents are fine as long as the overall look stays predominantly black and suitably weathered for realism.

Deliverables
• Print-ready 3D file (STL or OBJ) scaled for a small fiberglass casting
• A quick exploded view or sectional screenshot so I can verify wall thickness and reinforcement spots
• One rendered still that shows the final colour treatment under neutral lighting

Acceptance criteria
• Horns, banding and rivet detail remain sharp after 3 mm minimum wall thickness is applied
• No unsupported overhangs greater than 45° in the model
• Final file opens error-free in Cura or PrusaSlicer

If you already have experience modelling prop helmets or armour, let me see a couple of examples when we start. Looking forward to collaborating on this.
