We are an Australian ecommerce store selling lab-grade research peptides, clearly labelled "Research Use Only — not for human consumption". Our Merchant Center account is already set up and connected to our platform:
- Product feed auto-generated at /api/feed.xml, synced via Merchant API on a schedule
- Internal dashboard showing per-product approval status and item-level issues
- Third-party lab reports (CoAs) available for products
The problem
An account-level "Healthcare and medicine" policy hold is disapproving our entire catalogue in Australia. A manual review on 3 Aug 2026 upheld the hold. Before the hold, individual listings were being approved, so we know partial eligibility is possible.
Deliverables
1. Policy audit (written): identify exactly which Google Shopping policies the account trips (Healthcare and medicines, unapproved
pharmaceuticals and supplements, misrepresentation) and give an honest assessment of what is fixable versus not eligible for Shopping ads at all.
2. Listing remediation: rewrite feed titles, descriptions and attributes to be compliant — correct product categories, GTIN exemptions where legitimately applicable, purity/CAS/lab-report references, no therapeutic claims. We supply product data; you make it policy-clean.
3. Appeal management: prepare and submit the account-level appeal/re-review with supporting documentation (CoAs, website compliance. changes, labelling), respond to reviewer follow-ups, and iterate resubmissions until a final decision.
4. Account hygiene: feed diagnostics at zero item-level errors, AU shipping/returns/tax settings verified, website claim verified,
storefront eligible to link from Search and Ads surfaces.
5. Handover doc: how to refresh and monitor the feed, how to read diagnostics, and the escalation path if a product or the account is flagged again.
Acceptance criteria
- Account-level hold resolved: reinstated, or a definitive written explanation of exactly what must change for reinstatement
- Every catalogue item either approved or documented with its specific blocking issue and the fix
- Feed passing all diagnostics with no errors
Out of scope (already built, don't quote for these): the storefront itself, on-site product search, reviews or discount features.
Hard constraints
- No policy-evasion tactics: no cloaking, no borrowed GTINs, no misrepresenting what the products are, no cloaked landing pages. These get
accounts permanently terminated and we want a durable result.
- All copy must respect Australian therapeutic-goods rules (no therapeutic or performance claims).
