I have a compact workload that must run on Google Cloud Platform, and I need someone already fluent with Compute Engine and Cloud Storage to get it online quickly and cleanly. The objective is straightforward: spin up one or two virtual machines, connect them to a secure bucket, and leave me with a repeatable setup I can maintain myself afterward.
Here’s what I expect from the engagement:
• Compute Engine instances created with the right machine type, firewall rules, service account and metadata configured.
• A Cloud Storage bucket provisioned, securely locked down, mounted or otherwise made accessible to the VMs, and lifecycle rules in place to keep costs predictable.
• Simple, step-by-step documentation (or a small Terraform script if you prefer) so I can recreate or edit the environment without guesswork.
• A brief hand-off call or chat to walk through the configuration and answer any final questions.
I’m not after an enterprise-grade build—just a clean, reliable setup that follows GCP best practices for a small project focused on running virtual machines. If this sounds like a quick win for you, let’s get started.
