Full-Stack Developer for Multi-Site Video Platform & International Expansion

Project Description

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Web Developer to build and launch multiple localized websites based on our existing international video platform.

Our main platform is already live and currently contains 10,000+ video pages.

We are now expanding the platform internationally by launching localized websites for several markets, including:

Spanish
German
French
Brazilian Portuguese
Japanese
Italian
Turkish

The selected developer will be responsible for building all localized websites and creating a scalable architecture that allows us to launch and manage additional markets efficiently in the future.

This is not a project to build seven completely independent websites from scratch.

The objective is to transform our existing platform into a reusable, scalable multi-site architecture where the core functionality is shared while each website can have its own:

Domain and branding
Language
Navigation and UI text
Categories
Titles and descriptions
Tags and metadata
SEO configuration
Analytics
Search Console configuration
Advertising configuration
Internal linking rules
Market-specific settings
Main Responsibilities

The developer will be responsible for:

Reviewing our existing platform architecture
Creating a reusable multi-site framework
Deploying all planned localized websites
Implementing centralized localization/language files
Creating configuration-based site deployment
Connecting the existing video/content infrastructure to the localized websites
Implementing localized categories, tags and metadata
Building scalable URL structures
Implementing SEO-friendly routing
Creating and maintaining XML sitemap architecture
Implementing canonical tags correctly
Implementing hreflang where appropriate
Implementing VideoObject structured data
Ensuring clean internal linking
Integrating analytics and tracking
Preparing advertising placements
Integrating our dating platform through "Find a Partner" placements
Optimizing performance and mobile loading speed
Testing each website before launch
Fixing bugs after deployment
Documenting the architecture for future developers
Architecture Goal

We want to avoid maintaining seven completely separate codebases.

Ideally, the system should follow a structure similar to:

Shared Core Platform

For example, when we decide to launch another country in the future, we should not need to rebuild the entire website.

We should be able to add:

New Domain + New Language Package + New Market Configuration

and deploy the new website efficiently.

The architecture must remain maintainable as the network grows.

Localization

We will provide localization content and language requirements.

The developer should create a clean localization system supporting:

EN / ES / DE / FR / PT-BR / JA / IT / TR

The system should allow us to manage:

Navigation
Buttons
Categories
Search
Video page elements
Related content
Authentication
Footer
Calls to action
System messages
SEO elements

without manually editing templates for every website.

Video & Content Architecture

Our video library is growing rapidly.

The architecture therefore needs to support tens of thousands and eventually hundreds of thousands of video pages efficiently.

The developer should consider:

Database performance
Caching
CDN/video delivery
Pagination
Related-video queries
Sitemap generation
Large-scale URL management
Server performance
Mobile performance
Crawl efficiency

We do not want a solution that works for 10,000 pages but becomes problematic at 100,000+ pages.

SEO Requirements

Technical SEO is extremely important for this project.

The developer will work alongside our SEO specialist and must be comfortable implementing technical SEO requirements including:

Clean SEO-friendly URLs
Canonical tags
XML sitemaps
Video sitemaps where appropriate
VideoObject structured data
hreflang
robots.txt
Meta title and description architecture
Internal linking
Pagination/indexation controls
Core Web Vitals
Mobile performance

You do not need to be an SEO strategist, but you must be able to correctly implement technical SEO requirements provided by our SEO specialist.

Our platform operates in the adult entertainment industry.

You must be comfortable working with an adult-oriented website and adult video content.

All work must follow applicable platform policies, legal requirements and our internal compliance procedures.

Initial Project

The first phase will include:

Audit the existing platform architecture
Propose the multi-site architecture
Convert the existing system into a reusable structure where necessary
Build the localization framework
Prepare the first localized website
Test architecture and performance
Deploy the remaining localized websites
Implement technical SEO requirements
Integrate analytics and tracking
Complete QA and performance testing
Document the system

We prefer to perfect the architecture with the first localized website before rapidly deploying the remaining markets.

Long-Term Opportunity

This project can develop into an ongoing position.

After the localized websites are launched, future work may include:
