Fix Word Footer Page Numbers

I have a Microsoft Word document whose footer needs attention. The page numbers are coming through incorrectly and I want them replaced with simple, consecutive numbers (1, 2, 3…) that start on the second page—nothing should appear on the very first page.

While you are in there, please check the margins as well. They should be uniform on every page, but a quick review shows some sections drifting out of alignment. I need those margins reset so the entire file prints cleanly and looks consistent throughout.

The finished deliverable is the corrected .docx file with:

• Properly sequenced page numbers beginning on page 2
• Consistent margins across the whole document

That’s it—straightforward but important. If you work comfortably in Word’s header/footer and layout tools, this should be quick. Let me know your turnaround time and I’ll send the file right away.
