I need a fast, pinpoint fix for a stubborn pricing glitch on my Shopify store. Prices show correctly in the back-end and in the cart, but on the actual product page they appear wrong, confusing customers and killing conversions.
Here’s what I know so far:
• Theme uses standard Liquid templates with a few JavaScript tweaks.
• No recent app installs, but I did update a discount app last week—there may be leftover code fragments.
• Storefront API is enabled for a mobile app, so any change must keep that JSON response intact.
Your task is to trace the root cause—whether hard-coded logic, Liquid variable mismatch, currency formatting, or an app-injected script—and restore the right price on every product page without upsetting existing discounts.
Acceptance criteria
1. Correct price renders consistently on all product URLs in both desktop and mobile views.
2. Cart and checkout totals remain unaffected.
3. No console errors after your changes; Lighthouse score stays within 2 points of current.
4. I receive a concise summary of edits (theme file names, lines changed, or app settings adjusted) so I can track them in version control.
Please be ready to work directly in Shopify’s Theme Editor or through GitHub integration—whichever is faster for you. I expect this to be a quick engagement, ideally wrapped up today.
