We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer with strong Lovable experience to help finalize Helm AI, an AI-powered General Manager designed to help businesses manage their daily operations.
The majority of the product has already been developed using Lovable. We are not looking to rebuild it from scratch. We need someone who can take ownership of the existing applications, identify incomplete functionality, resolve bugs, ensure both platforms work together seamlessly, and prepare the product for launch.
Applications
1. Helm AI Web App
The main management platform for business owners and managers. It includes dashboards, AI management capabilities, financial reporting, sales analytics, inventory, staffing, scheduling, tasks, and other business management tools.
2. Helm Connect
The complementary application for business operations and staff. It must work seamlessly with the main Helm web application, using synchronized business information, accounts, permissions, and operational data.
Access to both Lovable projects and relevant technical documentation will be provided after hiring.
Responsibilities
1. Complete integration between both applications
Ensure both applications use a properly synchronized backend and database.
Ensure updates made in one application correctly appear in the other.
Fix authentication, user roles, permissions, and account synchronization.
Resolve any integration errors, broken API calls, or inconsistent data.
Ensure businesses, employees, tasks, and operational information remain synchronized.
2. Fix bugs and complete existing features
Audit every page, button, form, workflow, and navigation element.
Identify unfinished, broken, or placeholder functionality.
Complete existing features according to the approved specifications.
Resolve frontend and backend bugs.
Fix loading issues, broken redirects, and application errors.
Ensure the applications work properly across desktop and mobile screen sizes.
3. Verify core Helm functionality
Review and test existing functionality across:
AI General Manager and AI chat
Business dashboards and analytics
Sales and financial reporting
Inventory management
Employee management and scheduling
Tasks, alerts, and notifications
Business onboarding and waitlist/approval workflows
Multi-business and multi-location management
Industry-specific experiences, including restaurants and car rentals
Third-party integrations already implemented or configured
Any missing integrations, credentials, or features requiring substantial new development must be documented during the initial audit.
4. Improve the overall experience
Ensure smooth navigation and responsive design.
Remove unnecessary friction from onboarding.
Verify that users see the correct functionality for their roles and business type.
Improve error handling and application performance.
Make both applications consistent and professional.
5. Perform complete quality assurance
Test important user journeys from beginning to end.
Verify data synchronization and persistence.
Test account creation, authentication, permissions, and business onboarding.
Check for database errors, security issues, and failed integrations.
Resolve all identified critical and high-severity defects within the agreed scope.
Document remaining lower-priority issues and any external blockers.
Required Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Lovable.
React, TypeScript, and modern full-stack development.
Supabase/PostgreSQL or equivalent backend experience.
API integrations and authentication.
Debugging existing SaaS applications.
Database synchronization and access controls.
End-to-end testing and production deployment.
Expected Deliverables
Initial technical audit with a prioritized issue list.
Properly synchronized Helm Connect and Helm web applications.
Completed and repaired functionality within the agreed scope.
Tested critical workflows across both platforms.
Working deployment and documented changes.
A final testing report, outstanding-issues register, and technical handover.
We expect clear communication and regular progress updates. The project will be accepted after successful testing of agreed functionality, not simply after code changes are made.
Budget
$1,000 fixed price, divided into milestones.
