Existing APK Feature Enhancement

I have a released APK that now needs a thorough teardown, debugging and a fresh round of feature work. The first step is to de-compile or otherwise analyse the current build so we know exactly where crashes, outdated UI flows and hard-coded restrictions live. From there I want to reshape specific screens, upgrade the overall look-and-feel and bolt on a couple of new functions that were never in the original scope.
You’ll be working inside Android Studio with both Java and Kotlin classes, so experience hopping between the two is important. Expect to handle APK analysis tools (apktool, jadx, etc.) for reverse-engineering, refactor any obfuscated code that blocks progress, hook the app back up to its REST APIs, then run instrumented and unit tests to prove stability.
Deliverables I need:
• Decompiled and cleaned source tree pushed to a private repo
• Refactored code with the new or modified features fully wired in
• UI/UX tweaks implemented to match supplied mock-ups
• Updated API calls verified in staging
• Signed debug and release builds plus a short test report
Send over a short note with links to two or three similar projects, your typical turnaround time for work like this and an estimated cost breakdown by milestone. I’m lining this up as the first of several iterations, so solid, maintainable code and clear communication will open the door to a longer-term collaboration.
