Excel Operations Dashboard Automation

I’m consolidating several workflows into one master Excel workbook and need it built so anyone on the team can open it, enter data, and instantly see the story behind the numbers.

Core workbook requirements
• Structured data-entry sheets with drop-down validation to stop typos at the source.
• Behind-the-scenes formulas that calculate costs, timelines, and performance metrics automatically—no manual math should be necessary.
• Built-in analysis tools (pivot tables, Power Query or similar) so I can slice the data by date, service line, or team member without touching the raw sheets.

Operational coverage
The file must accommodate three parallel tracks: project-management tasks, client-service tracking, and inventory management. Each record should carry service type and date stamps so we can filter or chart any combination later.

Interactive dashboard
On a dedicated tab, I need a visually engaging dashboard featuring:
• KPI summary cards for key metrics we’ll define together
• Real-time updating graphs that refresh the moment new data is entered
• Customisable report views controlled by slicers or drop-downs, allowing stakeholders to build their own reports without breaking the layout

Quality bar & hand-off
1. Workbook delivered fully unlocked (no hidden VBA passwords) and ready for me to test with sample data.
2. Brief user guide or screencast so new staff can understand where to input data and how to refresh the dashboard.
3. Everything should stay performant even after a year’s worth of records.

Create an executive-level interactive operations dashboard using the uploaded Excel workbook as the DATA SOURCE and the uploaded dashboard image as the VISUAL SPECIFICATION.
• IMPORTANT: The uploaded dashboard image is not general inspiration. Reproduce its visual design, proportions, hierarchy, spacing, dark theme, and overall appearance as closely as possible. Do not redesign it into your own style.
• PURPOSE
• This dashboard will be used by management to review UK & Europe drilling operations across a selected date range.
• The dashboard must immediately answer:
• Where are we operating?
• How many rigs/projects are active, upcoming, or planned?
• Which clients are involved?
• Which services are being provided?
• What is the operational timeline?
• What are the main highlights, watchouts, milestones, and HSE issues?
