Excel Live TAB Racing Odds

I need a reliable, low-latency feed that lets Excel pull live prices from the TAB bookmaker for horse racing, harness racing and greyhound meetings. The workbook should refresh on demand (or at a user-set interval) and display each runner’s win and place odds along with race time, track, and any standard identifiers you fetch from the API.

You’re free to use Power Query, VBA, Python, or any other method that keeps the refresh process simple for a non-technical end user. If the TAB API requires authentication or session tokens, build that in so the sheet reconnects automatically without exposing keys in plain text.

Deliverables
• A working Excel file pre-wired to the TAB live-odds feed
• Well-commented source code or scripts used to make the connection
• A brief setup/read-me so I can adjust refresh intervals or move the solution to another machine

Acceptance criteria
1. On hitting “Refresh”, odds update in under 5 seconds for an average meeting.
2. Data matches the current values shown on TAB’s own site/app at the same moment.
3. No manual copy-and-paste is required after your solution is installed.

If you can future-proof the sheet so additional bookmakers could be added later, mention that in your proposal.
