Ethereum Public Blockchain Development

This project involves building a production-ready solution on the public Ethereum blockchain. The scope centres on end-to-end blockchain development: architecting the contract logic, writing and thoroughly testing Solidity smart contracts, then deploying them to an Ethereum mainnet address after successful test-net validation.
I already know that Ethereum is the right fit, so the work should follow current best practices around Solidity (≥0.8.x), Hardhat or Truffle for the build pipeline, and standard libraries such as OpenZeppelin for audited contract components. Clean, gas-efficient code and clear documentation are priorities, as the contracts will later integrate with a web or mobile front-end through Web3.js or Ethers.js.
Deliverables
• Complete Solidity source code with inline comments
• Unit and integration tests covering core logic (Mocha/Chai preferred)
• Deployment scripts for testnets and mainnet
• A short technical report describing architecture decisions, security considerations, and upgrade strategy
Acceptance criteria
• All tests pass on a public testnet (Goerli or Sepolia)
• Contract functions behave exactly as specified in the report and revert on invalid input
• Deployment transaction hashes and final contract addresses are provided and independently verifiable on Etherscan
Feel free to suggest optimisations, layer-2 deployment options, or additional tooling if it benefits performance or lowers gas costs—the brief is open to thoughtful improvements that keep everything fully on-chain and transparent.
