Enterprise Application Error Tracking

We have developed an in-house online ERP system using Angular 20.3.19 for the front end, ASP.NET Web API 2 with .NET Framework 4.7.2 for the application/API layer, and SQL Server as the database platform. The ERP consists of multiple Angular modules, pages, forms, List of Values (LOVs), submission workflows, and backend services.
We are looking to develop a centralized, dynamic error-handling and incident-management framework that can be integrated across the entire ERP application.
Objective
The objective is to create a reusable ERP Error Management Library that automatically captures and manages errors occurring at any application layer, including:
• Angular/front-end errors
• Form and validation errors
• Button/submit-action errors
• LOV and lookup errors
• HTTP/API errors
• ASP.NET Web API/.NET exceptions
• Business-logic exceptions
• SQL/database errors
• Stored procedure errors
• Connection and timeout errors
• Unexpected or unhandled system exceptions
Dynamic Error Registration
Whenever an error occurs, the framework should automatically:
1. Capture the error without requiring developers to implement separate error-handling logic on every page.
2. Identify the application layer where the error occurred.
3. Collect relevant diagnostic information, such as:
o Error/exception type
o Error message
o Stack trace
o Angular component/page
o API/controller/method
o SQL procedure/query information where appropriate
o User information
o Date and time
o Browser/client information
o Request/transaction/correlation ID
o ERP module and screen
o Error severity
o Environment
4. Store the complete error information in a centralized Error Schema/Database structure.
5. Generate a unique error/incident reference number.
6. does not repeat/record same error in database table.
