2. Problem Statement
Traditional MPPT algorithms may reduce system efficiency under rapidly changing
irradiance conditions. A lightweight intelligent enhancement is required to improve
tracking accuracy without increasing system complexity.
3. Research Objectives
The objectives of this research are:
• Design and implement a DC-DC Boost converter for a small PV system (100–150W).
• Implement a conventional P&O MPPT algorithm.
• Develop a simple Linear Regression model to predict optimal duty cycle.
