Content Editor Needed for Clear, Polished, and Engaging Writing
I’m looking for a detail-oriented freelance Content Editor to review and improve content for business and publishing projects. Assignments may include website copy, product descriptions, marketing materials, newsletters, articles, and manuscripts.

You should be able to strengthen writing while preserving the intended message.
Responsibilities
• Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
• Improve clarity, flow, organization, and readability.
• Remove repetition and maintain a consistent tone.
• Flag unclear statements, inconsistencies, and claims that need verification.
• Follow project briefs and meet agreed deadlines.
• Deliver an edited version with tracked changes or suggestions, plus a clean final copy.

Ideal Qualifications
• Proven experience in content editing and proofreading.
• Excellent command of written English.
• Ability to adapt content for different audiences.
• Comfortable working in Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
