I need a brushless DC motor engineered specifically for a ceiling fan / blower. The end product has to move plenty of air while staying whisper-quiet and drawing as little power as possible—high airflow, low noise, and low energy use are equally critical, not optional trade-offs.
You will take the project from concept through proof-of-performance, handling the electromagnetic design, mechanical layout, thermal considerations, and basic drive-electronics interface. Feel free to apply FEA, CFD, or any other modeling tools you rely on to hit the targets; what matters is a data-backed design that can be prototyped and verified.
Deliverables I expect:
• Complete motor geometry and winding specification in CAD/step format
• Simulation files showing airflow, acoustic, and efficiency projections
• BOM with readily available materials
• Assembly drawings and tolerances suitable for prototype manufacture
• Test plan outlining how we will confirm airflow, noise (in dBA), and power draw at defined operating points
If you already have experience building compact BLDC units for fans, blowers, or similar small devices, please briefly highlight past results when you reply.
