Drupal 8-11 Upgrade & Redesign

I currently run a bare-bones Drupal 8 site that has never been populated with real content. I need it lifted to Drupal 11, then reshaped into a classic, elegant experience and finally stocked with real material.

Scope of work
• Upgrade the existing installation—including core, contributed and custom modules—to Drupal 11 while keeping all functionality intact.
• Replace the current theme with a fully responsive, classic-and-elegant design. Feel free to build a custom theme or adapt a base theme such as Barrio or Bootstrap as long as the final look aligns with traditional typography, balanced whitespace, and timeless color palettes.
• Create and configure three content types—Articles/Blog Posts, Product Listings, and User-Generated Entries—with the appropriate fields, view modes, and moderation workflows.
• Load an initial batch of sample content so I can see each section in action.
• Set up user roles and permissions that allow visitors to submit content safely while protecting the editorial backend.
• Perform post-upgrade testing, fix any regressions, and document the steps so future upgrades stay painless.

Acceptance criteria
1. The site reports “Drupal 11.x” with no outstanding database updates.
2. All modules and the new theme pass status checks with no critical errors.
3. Each content type can be created, edited, published, and displayed via its own View.
4. Pages render correctly on modern browsers and common mobile breakpoints.
5. A short hand-off document (markdown or PDF) explains the upgrade path, theme structure, and key configurations.
