Develop Web Social Platform Chatter OFM

I’m launching Chatter OFM as a pure social-networking experience and need a developer who can bring the first web-only version to life. At this stage the must-have features are user profiles (signup, avatar, bio, privacy settings) and a real-time messaging system that supports one-to-one as well as optional group chats. An activity feed is something I may add later, so structure the code with that future module in mind.

Tech stack is flexible; anything modern, maintainable and friendly to rapid iteration—React, Vue or Svelte on the front end, and Node, Django or similar on the back—will work as long as it’s well documented and easy for another engineer to pick up. Real-time messaging can run over WebSockets, Firebase, or a comparable service; choose whichever you’re comfortable optimising for low-latency delivery.

Deliverables
• Responsive web app covering user registration, profile management and real-time chat
• Clean, commented code in a private Git repo with a concise README
• Deployed demo (Heroku, Vercel, AWS or equivalent) plus deployment scripts/instructions
• Brief hand-off call or video walk-through of the architecture and next-step recommendations

Acceptance criteria
1. A new visitor can create an account, edit their profile and upload an avatar.
2. Logged-in users can search for others, start a chat and exchange messages instantly without page reloads.
3. All core flows work smoothly on desktop, tablet and mobile browsers.
4. Code passes basic linting/tests and includes instructions for local setup in under five minutes.
