# WordPress Developer Required – 3-Day Ministry Demo / Prototype + Full Platform Development

## Project Overview

We are developing a professional platform that will connect **Omani suppliers with African government tender opportunities**.

Before starting the full development, we need an experienced WordPress developer/team to create a **small working demo/prototype within 3 days**.

The purpose of this first phase is to demonstrate the concept and user journey to the Ministry. The demo does not need to contain the complete final platform. It should clearly show how the website will work and, most importantly, how tender information received through an external API will be presented to registered users.

The attached site architecture provides the overall future platform structure.

# PHASE 1 – MINISTRY DEMO / PROTOTYPE

### Deadline: Maximum 3 Days

We need a simple but professional working WordPress demo that can be presented to Ministry stakeholders.

### Required User Journey

The demo should show the following flow:

**1. Public Website**

Create a professional homepage/landing page showing the concept of the platform.

For example:

* Platform introduction
* African government tender opportunities
* Key sectors
* Call-to-action such as **"View Tenders"**
* Professional corporate/government-style design

### 2. Visitor Clicks on Tender

When a visitor clicks on a tender/opportunity, the system should check whether the user is logged in.

If the user is not logged in:

**"Please Login/Register to View Tender Details."**

The visitor should then be directed to the login/registration page.

### 3. User Registration / Login

Create a basic registration and login system.

For the demo, we only need the basic user account functionality.

After successful login, the user should be taken to their **Supplier Dashboard**.

### 4. Supplier Dashboard

The dashboard should show tender opportunities received through an **external API**.

The tender API will be provided by a **third-party company / Rwanda authority-related tender data source**.

The developer's responsibility in this phase is primarily to:

**Connect to the API → Pull the tender data → Store/display the data → Present it professionally to the user.**

The developer does not need to create the tender data source.

### 5. Tender Listing

The dashboard should display tender information such as:

* Tender title
* Tender/reference number
* Country
* Issuing authority/entity
* Sector/category
* Publication date
* Closing/submission date
* Short description
* Tender status
* View Details button

The exact fields will depend on the API data provided.

### 6. Search & Filters

The dashboard should have simple search and filtering to make it easy for suppliers to find relevant opportunities.

For example:

* Search by tender title/keyword
* Country
* Sector
* Publication date
* Closing date
* Issuing authority

The future architecture also identifies country, sector, publication date and issuing entity as key tender filters.

### 7. Tender Details

When the logged-in supplier clicks **View Details**, display the tender information received from the API.

The demo should show how the final platform could present:

* Tender title
* Full description
* Issuing organization
* Deadline
* Requirements
* Available documents/attachments, if provided by API
* Other relevant tender information

The final platform is intended to provide suppliers with the information needed to make a bidding decision.

# API INTEGRATION – IMPORTANT

The API will be provided by a third-party company.

We do **not** expect the developer to create the tender API.

The developer needs to demonstrate that the WordPress website can:

1. Connect to the provided API
2. Authenticate with the API if required
3. Pull tender data
4. Display the tender data on the website
5. Store/cache data where appropriate
6. Allow users to search and filter the tenders
7. Open the tender details page

For the Ministry demo, the most important objective is to **visually and functionally demonstrate the API-to-website flow**.

If the actual API is ready at the time of development, the developer should connect to the real API.

If API credentials/access are not available immediately, the developer should create the demo using sample/mock data and then connect the real API once access is provided.

# PAYMENT GATEWAY – PHASE 2

There will also be a **payment gateway integration with Sohar Bank, Oman**.

However, **payment integration is NOT required for the 3-day Ministry demo**.

This will be handled in the later development phase.

The developer should therefore build the system in a way that allows payment functionality to be integrated later without rebuilding the platform.

Within **3 days**, we expect a working demo that can be shown to the Ministry:

**Homepage → Click Tender → Login/Register → Supplier Dashboard → API Tender Listing → Search/Filter → Tender Details**

The demo should look professional enough for a Ministry presentation and clearly demonstrate the concept.

# PHASE 2 – FULL PLATFORM

If the Ministry approves the concept/demo, we will proceed with the complete platform development.

The full platform will include additional functionality such as:

* Complete tender portal
* Advanced supplier accounts
* Supplier dashboard
* Tender saving/following
* Automated notifications
* Email/WhatsApp notifications
* Deal Facilitation CRM
* Tender/bid tracking
* Supplier public profiles
* Marketing and promotion pages
* Ministry analytics dashboard
* Super Admin dashboard
* Multiple tender data providers
* Arabic / English / French
* Payment gateway integration with Sohar Bank
* Additional API integrations
* Security and scalability
* Future mobile application integration

The full architecture includes ten core modules, including the Tenders Portal, Supplier Dashboard, Notification Center, Deal Facilitation CRM, Ministry Analytics and Platform Management.

We are primarily evaluating developers based on their ability to quickly create a **professional working demonstration within 3 days** and successfully demonstrate the **API → Website → User Dashboard → Tender Data** workflow.

The full project will be discussed after the Ministry presentation and approval.
