I’m looking for an experienced computer hardware engineer to take my brand-new desktop computers from boxes to fully functioning workstations. The scope is strictly hardware-side: unboxing, assembling any modular components, mounting drives or expansion cards when required, connecting peripherals, powering up, and confirming everything posts cleanly. Once the machines are physically ready, I also need the initial system setup completed—BIOS configuration, first-boot checks, and a quick burn-in or diagnostic run so I know every unit is stable before I move on to software imaging.
You’ll be working only with desktop towers, no laptops or servers involved. Please tell me about similar roll-outs you’ve handled and the tools you rely on for hardware testing. I’m aiming for a smooth, same-day turn-around, so clarity on your process and lead time will help me lock in the schedule quickly.
