# Compact 12S BMS / Active Balancing Board — Ready-Made or PCB Design
We are developing a **12S drone battery system**
We are looking for someone who already has a **compact 12S BMS design or board** suitable for a high-performance drone application.
### Required specifications
* **12S Li-ion / LiPo**
* Target PCB size: **maximum 50 × 60 mm**
* **Active cell balancing** required
* Individual monitoring of all 12 cells
* Over-charge / cell over-voltage protection
* Over-discharge / cell under-voltage protection
* Over-current protection
* Short-circuit protection
* Over-temperature / under-temperature protection
* Individual cell voltage monitoring
* Pack voltage and current monitoring
* **CAN / CAN-FD communication**
* SOC monitoring
* Battery fault/status reporting
* Compact design suitable for UAV/drone battery integration
* Preferably hardware watchdog / independent protection
* Preferably event/fault logging
### We are interested in
**Option 1 — Ready-made board**
If you already manufacture or have a working **12S compact BMS board**, we are interested in purchasing samples and evaluating it for our application.
**Option 2 — Existing PCB design**
If you already have a proven 12S BMS PCB design, we are interested in purchasing/licensing the design files, including:
* Schematic
* PCB/Gerber files
* BOM
* Pick-and-place/CPL if available
* Firmware, if available
* Manufacturing documentation
We prefer an **existing tested design**, rather than starting completely from scratch.
### Important
Please mention:
1. Exact PCB dimensions
2. BMS IC / active balancing IC used
3. Maximum balancing current
4. Maximum continuous current
5. Peak current
6. CAN or CAN-FD support
7. LiPo and/or Li-ion compatibility
8. Board photos
9. Schematic or block diagram, if you can share
10. Whether you can sell the board directly
11. Whether you can provide/license the PCB design
12. Price for prototype/sample
13. Price for PCB design/license
14. Minimum order quantity, if applicable
**Priority will be given to people who already have a tested, compact 12S active-balancing BMS design/board and can provide a working sample quickly.**
