BASIX & BERS Simulation NSW

My residential build in New South Wales is still in the planning phase and I need to lock in the sustainability documentation before lodging the DA. The job centres on two tasks: running a full BERS Pro NatHERS simulation of the proposed dwelling and using those results to generate a BASIX certificate that will pass the online verification portal.

You will receive the current architectural drawings in PDF and DWG along with the preliminary materials schedule. If the initial modelling shows we fall short of the BASIX water, thermal or energy targets, I’m happy to refine glazing, insulation or service specifications based on your advice so long as the changes are clearly documented.

Deliverables
• Native BERS Pro project file plus summary report
• Final BASIX certificate ready for council submission (thermal, water and energy sections)
• Brief note on any design tweaks made to achieve compliance

Acceptance criteria
The certificate must verify successfully on the BASIX portal, and the BERS Pro output must reflect the final design committed to in the certificate.

An accredited assessor with recent NSW residential experience is preferred. A one-week turnaround would keep the broader project timeline on track, but let me know if you need a little longer.
