Danganronpa-Style Character Sprites

I’m creating a story-driven fan game and need sixteen original 2D talk-sprites that instantly read as “Danganronpa.” Please lean into the series’ trademark sharp line work, heavy shadows, and bold pop-art accents so every pose feels dramatic on screen.
Each character should come to life through a small set of expressions that fit their Ultimate talent and personality rather than a fixed checklist. One sprite might shift between a sly grin and a panicked stare, while another cycles from stoic calm to explosive rage—whatever best sells who they are in the script.
For consistency across dialogue scenes, keep proportions, lighting direction, and color treatment uniform; only the traits that define the characters should vary.
Deliverables
• 16 high-resolution, layered PSD or Clip Studio files (body, face, eyes, mouth separated)
• Transparent PNG exports of every finished expression
• A quick reference sheet summarising each character’s palette and Ultimate symbol
Workflow
1. Rough sketch thumbnails for all characters → approval
2. Clean line art & flat colors → approval
3. Final shading, highlights, and expression swaps → final check
Two minor revision passes after each stage are plenty; anything larger we can discuss. All artwork must be original, unshared elsewhere, and cleared for non-commercial fan use. If you’ve tackled manga-style lighting or game sprites before, links to those samples will help me lock you in quickly.
