I’m building a premium clothing label in India with a small in-house production line and I need a technology partner who can take me far beyond a typical Shopify or WooCommerce setup. The core of the project is a completely custom web store that lets shoppers either buy ready-made pieces or dive deep into personalisation.

Customization focus
• Design patterns are the heart of the configurator.
• Users must be able to create full custom designs instead of simply tweaking pre-made templates.
• A detailed, fully-interactive 3D workspace is required so customers can rotate, zoom, change colours, apply patterns, swap trims, and instantly see price changes.

How I see Phase 1
1. Customer-facing site: fast, responsive storefront with secure checkout, Indian payment gateways, GST handling, and order tracking.
2. 3D configurator: WebGL / Three.js (or any robust alternative) delivering smooth performance on desktop and mobile browsers.
3. Real-time rules engine: as a user changes pattern elements, the system recalculates price, production specs, and an itemised BOM for my factory team.
4. Admin suite: product catalogue, inventory sync, role-based access, analytics, and an export or API endpoint that pushes confirmed specs straight to our manufacturing workflow.
5. Solid foundation: modular codebase, clear documentation, and space to bolt on AR try-on or additional fabric options in later phases.

Acceptance criteria for delivery
• End-to-end flow from product selection to order confirmation must work flawlessly on the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, including mobile versions.
• 3D interaction stays above 45 fps on an average mid-range smartphone.
• Pricing and production output match my test matrix within ±1 % variance.
• Source code, build scripts, and deployment notes are handed over in a private repo.

I’m open to your recommendations on tech stack, cloud hosting, and which features should be tackled first to guarantee a stable, scalable launch. If you have previous work in interactive 3D, apparel configurators, or bespoke e-commerce builds, I’d love to see it alongside a high-level roadmap for Phase 1.
