Cross Platform Expense Tracker App

I’m setting up a streamlined mobile application that lets users record what they spend and instantly see where their money is going. The build needs to run smoothly on both iOS and Android, so a single code-base solution such as Flutter or React Native makes sense, but I’m open to your recommendation if you can justify another approach.

Core scope
• The first release centres on reliable expense tracking with a clean, intuitive interface. Users will add each transaction manually—speed and ease of input are critical.
• Totals, category breakdowns, and a simple daily-to-monthly view should update in real time so people can spot spending patterns at a glance.
• Local data storage is fine to start; please architect it so we can bolt on cloud sync or bank-feed imports later without a rewrite.

Deliverables
1. Click-through wireframes that illustrate the entire user flow, refined to production-ready UI assets.
2. Cross-platform code, fully commented, that compiles and runs on the latest versions of iOS and Android.
3. A short setup guide and build/run instructions so another developer can pick up the project.
4. Test build (TestFlight / internal track) plus source in a private repo.
5. One round of post-launch tweaks to fix any critical issues discovered in the first two weeks.

Acceptance criteria
• App installs and launches on current iOS and Android devices without crashes.
• A new user can create a profile, add, edit, and delete an expense in under 30 seconds.
• Category totals and overall balance recalculate instantly and persist after app restart.
• Code passes your own unit tests and mine, with at least 80 % coverage on the expense logic.

Timeline is flexible but I’d like to see the initial wireframes within a week of kickoff. If you have links to previous cross-platform finance or utility apps, that will help me gauge fit.
