We are an Oman-based construction company looking for a reliable and proactive freelancer to support our social media, digital presence, and business development research on a long-term part-time basis.
Our company is actively working on construction projects in Oman, including residential and commercial developments. We can provide real project photos, videos, site progress updates, technical information, and support from our local team.
The objective of this role is to help us present our construction work professionally online, maintain a consistent social media presence, and support us in identifying potential construction opportunities, clients, and relevant market activity.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management and Content Creation:
- Manage and develop our social media presence, mainly Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Prepare professional posts, stories, reels, carousels, and other construction-related content.
- Turn project photos, videos, and site updates provided by us into engaging content.
- Prepare and maintain a monthly/weekly content calendar.
- Write professional captions and suitable hashtags.
- Edit short videos and reels using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar.
- Organize project photos and content for future use.
- Suggest new ideas to improve the company's digital presence.
- Monitor basic engagement and performance of published content.
2. Construction Lead and Opportunity Research:
Support us in researching potential opportunities in Oman, including:
- New construction and development projects.
- Developers, property owners, investors, consultants, architects, and potential clients.
- Relevant tenders, RFQs, and construction opportunities available publicly.
- Commercial, residential, villa, refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance, and similar projects that may be relevant to our company.
- Relevant contacts and decision-makers where publicly available.
- Competitor and market activity.
The freelancer will not be expected to independently sell or close construction projects. The objective is to identify, organize, and research relevant opportunities so that our management can decide which ones to pursue.
3. Basic Business and Marketing Support:
- Maintain a simple lead/opportunity tracker.
- Conduct competitor and market research.
- Research potential marketing ideas and business opportunities related to construction.
- Assist with preparing simple marketing materials, presentations, company information, or project summaries when required.

You will not be expected to create construction information from scratch.

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong social media management and content creation skills.
- Can create professional visual content and short videos.
- Has good research and online lead-generation skills.
- Is organized and able to work independently.
- Has strong written English.
- Can use Canva, CapCut, or similar content tools.
- Is comfortable using AI tools for research, content, and productivity.
- Can work with Google Sheets/Excel or similar tools.
- Has good communication and follow-up skills.
- Experience in any of the following is a strong advantage: Construction, Real estate, Architecture, Property development, GCC markets
The freelancer can be located anywhere. Experience with Oman or GCC markets is beneficial but not required. Arabic is an advantage but is not mandatory.
Working Arrangement:
- Long-term part-time opportunity.
- Initial requirement: approximately 10 hours per week.
- We expect reasonable overlap with Oman working hours when communication is required.
- We plan to begin with an initial 8-week trial period.
- If the relationship is successful, the role may expand in the future to support additional business activities.
We prefer to build a long-term working relationship with one reliable person rather than repeatedly hire different freelancers.
